Migration History Calendar
About the Project
Welcome to our 2023 Immigration History Calendar! Over the past six months, MiSC has worked on this project to highlight important historical immigration milestones that have shaped today’s complex immigration system in the United States and abroad. Though this calendar mostly focuses on U.S. immigration policy, it also mentions important events that have shaped migration across the world. We also tried to incorporate lesser-known policies and events in order to highlight their impact on the current landscape of migration we inherit today.
Please feel free to use this calendar as an educational tool. If you are an educator or a student, there is a print option for the calendar and you may use it in your classrooms. If you have any questions or concerns about the calendar, please reach out to migrationscholarcollaborative@gmail.com.
