Check out the Stanford Migration & Asylum Lab

In December 2023 MiSC scholars Elliott Young (Lewis & Clark College) and Ana Raquel Minian (Stanford University) launched the Stanford Migration and Asylum Lab website.

The culmination of this project facilitates expert witnesses for asylum cases and produces scholarly research to inform courts about country conditions.

The Lab’s mission is to provide thorough, dependable country conditions information to help adjudicators to make well informed decisions as to the merit of claims for asylum protection.
