The three day Boys Basketball Tournament was a success. The Lincoln Railer Sophomore basketball boys beat Bartonville/Limestone 60-29 on Thursday, November 22, 2018. Lincoln Varsity boys beat Bartonville/Limestone 64-49. On Friday, November 23, 2018 the Sophomore team beat Springfield with a score of 64-38. Varsity beat Springfield with a score of 63-33. Saturday, November 24, 2018 the Sophomore team beat Cahokia 62-45 and the Varsity team beat Cahokia with a 65-33 score. Kaden Froebe had 22 points in the win vs. Springfield, he was the leading score. Jermaine Hamlin had 4 huge dunks in the win against Springfield.

The Lincoln Railer Basketball team beat the Taylorville Tornadoes 67-63. The Taylorville boys made a long fourth quarter run to try to rally back. Will Ewald scored 11 points in 32 minutes with 4 defensive rebounds, 4 rebounds, 1 turnover,and 2 steals. Kaden Froebe scored 19 points in 32 minutes with 1 offensive rebound, 1 defensive rebounds, 2 rebounds, 10 assists 3 turnover, and 2 steals. Jermaine Hamlin scored 14 points with 8 defensive rebounds, 1 turnover, 2 blocks, and 2 personal fouls. Drew Singleton scored 5 points with 3 offensive rebounds, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 4 personal fouls. Kameron Whiteman scored 10 points with 3 defensive rebounds, 1 assist, 2 turnovers, 2 steals, and 1 personal foul. Noah Funk scored 6 points with 1 personal foul. Dreydon Pozsgai scored 2 points with 2 offensive rebounds, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 turnover.

On December 4, 2018 Lincoln played the Mattoon Green Waves, Lincoln won with a score of 62-46. They put up a good fight that night and played very well. Will Ewald scored 8 points with 1 defensive rebound, 1 rebound 1 assist, 1 turnover, and 2 personal fouls. Kaden Froebe made 13 points with 3 offensive rebounds, 2 defensive rebounds, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 turnover, 1 steal, and 4 personal fouls. Jermaine Hamlin scored 18 points with 3 offensive rebounds, 8 defensive rebounds, and 11 rebounds. Dylan Singleton scored 8 points with 3 offensive rebounds, 1 defensive rebound, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 3 personal fouls. Kameron Whiteman makes 8 points with 2 offensive rebounds, 2 defensive rebounds, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, and 2 personal fouls. Keagan Ferguson unfortunately made no points but still got 1 defensive rebound, 1 rebound, and 1 turnover. Noah Funk made 2 points. Landon Hullinger made 3 points with 2 defensive rebounds, 2 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 personal foul. Dreydon Pozsgai made 2 points with 1 turnover, and 2 personal fouls. Congratulations to the Lincoln Community High school Railer Basketball team for beating Effingham Flaming Hearts with a score of 31-27.
