RootsMagic Users Group

This special interest group (SIG) of Lake County Genealogical Society is for all versions of RootsMagic, with emphasis on the latest version 10. We will be exploring how to use this desktop software to research our ancestors, organize our findings, and overcome stumbling blocks.  There is a LOT of features in this software and we have enough people interested in learning to start this group up. 

Q: How does this Users Group work?

A: An introduction to RootsMagic will be held in person on a quarterly basis, with the next one being Saturday July 26th at 2 p.m. in the conference room at the Ag Dept.  If you miss this one, email to be reminded about the next class.

At the quarterly introduction meeting, the participants will vote on the best time to continue class via Zoom. This gives everyone a chance to use their version of the software at home within the group Zoom.

Zoom meeting invites and reminders will be sent out by host Rose D. (sleeperseeker @ gmail.com) and each meeting now has a limit of 3 hours, if needed. (Yay!)
