Hartley Cemetery Tour

Saturday, June 28th, 2025 11 a.m.

2552 Hill Road East, Lakeport

Turn right on Shady Lane and follow to cemetery gates,

drive through towards the lake to the old, shady section.

Grave dowsing demonstration and lessons available.

We toured a small older section of this cemetery.

Lower Lake Cemetery Tour

A lovely walk through the historic Lower Lake Cemetery, under shade trees and learned about the lives of some of those buried there.

Grave dowsing was demonstrated once again.

Following this event corrections and additions were made by our volunteers to the Find-a-Grave site for this cemetery.

St. Mary's Cemetery Tour

October 28th, 2023

The historic St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery was visited by a small group of enthusiastic genealogists during the late morning.

The different sections were explored with emphasis on learning about the lives of some of those buried in the oldest section.

Grave dowsing was demonstrated and rods were available for attendees to experience.

A mangled metal mystery was also solved!

Kelseyville Cemetery Tour

May 27th, 2023

Marilyn G. led this tour of the Kelseyville Cemetery, which was visited by a good sized group of enthusiastic genealogists and interested parties.

The histories of some of the oldest Kelseyville families were repeated.

Duane gave a dowsing demonstration.

N. Carraway wrote: " I was always a non believer about divining rods until that visit to the cemetery. Seeing is believing".
