Financial aid funds are available to help students cover their educational expenses. Most types of financial aid come from federal and state programs, which require completing either the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Act Application. Financial awards are based on a student’s demonstrated need, but there are also additional programs that offer aid based on financial need or merit.

Your eligibility for financial aid can depend on several factors, such as income and assets, family size, and the number of family members currently in college. No matter your situation, it’s important to submit your application and required documents on time so you can receive the financial support you need.

What will you need?

• Social Security Number or card

• Tax information (from the past 2 years)

• Date of Birth

• Current Address

• Household size (number of people in your household)
