Kindergarten, either K4 or K5, is a very special time in the lives of families, as it is a child’s first transition to school. The Lester B. If you have a child with special needs, please indicate this on the Admission Form. A consultant or a professional from the Student Services Department will be in contact with you to learn more about your child's needs and assess the support that your child may require to attend school.

Every school board shall establish an advisory committee on services for handicapped students and students with social maladjustments or learning disabilities. The role of the Special Needs Advisory Committee is to:
• Advise the school board on a policy for the organization of educational services for students with special needs
• Advise on the allocation of financial resources for the provision of services intended for these students
