The My Projects section of My Data Portal shows you all of the projects to which you have (or had) early access to the data. This could be because:
you are the Proposal PI,
you have one of the following roles on the Project: PI, Co-PI, sample contact, tissue contact, or collaborator
Projects will appear on this list as soon as they exist at JGI - ie, JGI has initiated work with the PI.
Projects will stay on this list even after they are public.
My Data Portal is currently the only way to access private data in the browser.
Please use filters to reduce the data that is displayed in the My Projects table.
Select one or multiple projects from the My Projects table and then select Manage Access to grant access to users.
Use ORCIDs to grant other JGI users early access to your data.
Users listed in the ORCID input box will be granted access to all of the projects that you have selected on the Manage Access page. If you want to grant access to only a subset of the projects, deselect the ones that you do not want act upon.
Visit ORCID to have an ORCID minted.
Visit JGI's sign-on tool to associate your ORCID with your JGI account.
Visit myORCID to retrieve your ORCID (in the future, if necessary).
The "My File Restoration Requests" section allows you to easily access and track all your file restoration requests. For each unique restore ID, you can view detailed information about the request and its current status.
With every request, the status will indicate whether your files are still being processed, if they are ready for download, or if they have expired. Once the restoration is complete, the status will be marked as "Ready." Clicking on the ID link provides access to the download page for the specific request, where you can begin your download using your preferred method.
Additionally, this section shows the specific information about each restoration request, ensuring you are aware of any time-sensitive actions required. You can also view the number of files and their total size, giving you a clear overview of what’s been requested and restored.
Stay informed throughout the entire process. Should you need further assistance, our support team is available to guide you.
