At Lawrence Sheriff you will find you can get involved in a huge number of activities outside of your normal lessons.
Enrichment
Twice a week you will have an enrichment session instead of form time. The options change slightly each year but there is something for everyone. The current sessions include Animation, Star Wars, Learning guitar, Adult colouring, French crime drama, Frisbee, Introduction to Italian, Dungeons and dragons, Robotics, 3D drawing, Crystal maze and many, many more....

Clubs, Societies and Committees
You have a wide selection of sports clubs you can join, suitable for everyone from beginners to those of you who have been playing a sport since you were young. The music department runs a variety of bands, choirs and orchestras.
There are also opportunities to join committees such as the Eco Committee where you can make real change to how the school runs.
Student Council
If you are interested in representing the voice of your fellow students and advocating for them then you can nominate yourself to join the student council. Students are elected to join the student council by a form vote. The role of the student council is to serve the students as effectively as possible and make students aware of wider issues, in addition to establishing links with the community and fundraising for charity. It is also involved in the appointment of new staff members. All students are encouraged to support and engage with the work of the council - it is, after all, their council.
Competitions
You will have the opportunity to take part in various competitions across a range of subjects. Some of these will be internal competitions against other houses and form groups, others will be against other students both nationally and even internationally.
