SEL Support at School
At LESD we teach Second Step lessons to our elementary and middle school students. Second Step SEL is research-based, teacher-informed, and classroom-tested to promote the social-emotional development, safety, and well-being of children from Early Learning through Grade 8.
School Social Workers help students to focus on social emotional development so they achieve success in school and are prepared to lead fulfilling lives. LESD Social Workers provide individual and group support as well as classroom lessons.
