Poverty & Hunger

The Hunger Project_Story Telling Video (1).mp4

Many families are starving for food and don’t have enough resources in the world to survive. In many countries such as Ethiopia, over half of the population is in hunger and poverty. That is over 4.5 million people! The problem is that families and people are just searching for food. Not many families can afford the resources they need to survive. They are begging for food and asking for the necessary resources. Many kids are starving and need food and shelter to survive.

The Hunger Project has helped millions of families, and continues to raise money to help millions more.

They have been making a difference to stop this problem since 1977. They are a nonprofit organization committed to ending world hunger.

The work of The Hunger Project has reached more than 17.3 million people all over the world, by distributing food to the less fortunate and providing water. They have helped in over 22 countries (a few are Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom). They have made a difference in 16,000 communities throughout Africa, Southern Asia, Latin America, and several more.

They firmly believe that at the rate they are helping, by 2030 World Hunger will end.

But they need your help to keep up this good work.

As you can see The Hunger Project is helping families and people all over the world, by building and empowering communities to make a change.

All these great things are coming from the Hunger Project, but none of this is possible without you.

Everyone in the world can make a difference, even that little boy in the basement playing video games all summer, even that mom who is always on her phone during dinner, even the shyest teenage girl doodling in her notebook.
