Educators continue to enhance their teaching methods highlighting engagement and achievement in the classroom through the use of technology, specifically social media applications. In the current 21st century, it is powerful to build on students' prior knowledge in order to expand the learning inside of the classroom to outside of the classroom in aspects they are educated on and can benefit from. Social media is highly sought after through individuals of all ages, especially children. Social media provides unique learning opportunities, building communities with other peers, and an essential tool for educators to engage students and increase achievement.
