To show our commitment to improving mental health awareness, we partnered with SanaMente and Each Mind Matters, along with the City of Maywood.
After all the hard work our team put in, we were proud to achieve our goal. Along the way, we received incredible support from inspiring individuals, including Todd Leitz (Dodgers announcer), Heber Marquez (Mayor of Maywood), and Carolina Gaitán (Disney actress in Encanto). With their support, we were able to make a meaningful impact and help build a healthier, more supportive community.
Students at Maywood Center for Enriched Studies also played a big role by creating a virtual mental health assembly to help spread awareness and support our mission. This was a true schoolwide effort across multiple grade levels, driven by dedicated students and supported by staff and the community,all working together to make a positive difference.
