Studying Medieval World History presents many opportunities for students to explore art forms from all over the world. This year, students created mosaics inspired by the Byzantine Empire, lanterns inspired by the Islamic Empire, Griot masks inspired by Medieval Africa, clay calendars inspired by the Aztec and Maya Empires, Arches inspired by Roman architecture, as well as ink wash paintings and block prints inspired by Medieval China.
