Reseda Community of Schools Administrator
As we roll into June, we are looking forward to kindergarten and fifth grade culminations and of course, our high school graduations. So much has transpired since our first day of day of school that this whole year seems like a blur, but we made it!
On behalf of the Reseda Community of Schools, congratulations to the class of 2022! Despite all of the obstacles, you preserved and made it to your big day.
Switching gears, we are having our Community of Schools led summer school programs at the following schools:
Academy of Enriched Sciences ES, ETK-5
Mulholland MS, 6-8
Bertrand ES, ETK-5
Lake Balboa SPAN, ETK-8
Extended School Year will be at Newcastle Elementary, Lokrantz, and Leichman.

Finally, looking ahead to the next school year, you can view the calendar here. Our first day of school with students will be August 15, 2022.

Take care of your bodies and minds, they must last you a lifetime. Listen to your parents and smile at your neighbors. These things alone will do wonderful things for your life."

The Reseda Community of Schools staff hope you are having a wonderful summer. It’s been a long year challenges year, but our dedication, resilience and commitment to student success has seen us through. Thank you.
For our students returning for a Summer of Learning we will be here to encourage, support and guide you every step of the way. Parents, it’s not too late to apply. English Language Learners

It’s the end of the year and ELPAC scores are coming in. If all three reclassification criteria is met, parents of English Learners will be notified by your school as the final step towards reclassification! Congratulations! Your hard work in becoming proficient in English as a second language has been met. In case you did not meet all three criteria of reclassification this school year, look to see which criteria you can continue to work on to meet the goal of reclassification for next school year.
Refer to the table for the reclassification criteria as well as the videos provided by MMED.
