• Students will be challenged and extend their learning of reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking skills

• Analyze literature and non-fiction texts.  

• Students will expand their knowledge of vocabulary, grammar, language mechanics, word origins, and context clues

• Strengthen their comprehensive strategies of making connections, asking questions, predicting, writing summaries, and much more.

Using the GoMath and IllustrativeMath curriculum, students will apply real-life situations to the math concepts they are learning and utilize project-based learning to better understand the math concepts.

Physical Education is critical to living a healthy lifestyle. 

Students will be PE and learn a variety of sports

 throughout 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade. 

We believe that music and the arts are foundational to a student’s education, and we pride ourselves on having a robust arts and music program. At Reseda charter middle, all students have access to music classes.
