School History

Reseda Charter is a SPAN 6-12 comprehensive school, offering robust and rigorous middle and high school programs. 

Reseda Charter Middle School opened in August 2020 with 46 6th graders. In August 2021, we opened 60 more seats in the 6th grade and 14 more seats in the 7th grade for incoming students. In August 2022, RCMS opened at full capacity with 6th-8th grade.Grades will be no larger than 90 students, offering small class sizes and specialized support at each grade level.

RCMS is located on the Reseda Charter High School campus. Reseda Charter High school is a comprehensive high school campus with multiple magnet programs and various specialized pathways. All students at RCMS will have access to all the resources offered on the high school campus, increasing access to enriching learning experiences not typically offered in middle schools. All students at RCMS will matriculate into Reseda Charter High School with the option to enroll in the charter, magnets, and/or specialized pathways.

Students at Reseda Charter experience small, individualized, hands-on, and enriching learning experiences lead by a highly-qualified and dedicated team! Reseda Charter 6-12 is currently undergoing a campus modernization. The campus is scheduled to be finished in 2025/2026. See photos below of the future Reseda Charter!
