DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP

One important role of a teacher librarian is to provide instruction to students in digital citizenship. Steve uses the District-adopted digital citizenship curriculum offered through Common Sense Media.

Each month there is a different theme addressed dealing with digital citizenship: Media Balance & Well-Being; Privacy & Security; Digital Footprint & Identity; Relationships & Communication; Cyberbullying, Digital Drama, & Hate Speech; News & Media Literacy.
