Targeted Outcomes
The HEET initiative aims to make targeted investments of fiscal, human, external resources and partnerships within a Community of Schools model with the following goals:
Stabilizing the teaching and administrative faculty for increased continuity and consistency of instructional objectives and learning outcomes for our highest needs populations served
Providing essential out of classroom supports such as librarians, nurses, counselors, instructional coaches, coordinators, the arts, specialized pupil services, mental health support, and wellness.
Provide a safe and welcoming learning environment that promotes robust parent, family and stakeholders' voice, feedback, engagement and pride in the community.
Increased student achievement rates for African American students, particularly (and all other student groups) in the following areas:
Graduation, College and Career Readiness
Grade C or Better in College Prep and High School Prerequisite Courses
Daily School In-Seat Attendance
Proficiency in Summative Assessments and Completed Courses
ELA, MATH, & All Academic Content Areas
At or Above Benchmark in Early Literacy & Numeracy
Access to Honors and Advanced Placement Courses
Gifted & Talented Education (GATE) Identification
Reduction in Special Education Referrals, School Suspensions, Expulsions, and Chronic Absenteeism
