Animation

Animation is the illusion of life, created by artists through drawings, models, digital and time-based media. This course serves as an introduction to animation through the studies of the principles of animation. During the first semester emphasis is placed on traditional, hand-drawn, 2D techniques. The second semester explores 3D with computer graphics stop-motion and 3D Printing. As a concentrator course, this serves as a pre-requisite for the Advertising Design class.
