Term Six:
Theme: Who We Are
This term, we will be looking at the awareness of how humans learn may not lead to a greater understanding of the community.
Our lines of inquiry include:
How the brain works (function)
How differences in the brain affect learning (Connection)
Our responsibility to others who learn differently in the community (Responsibility)
Term 6 - Knowledge Organisers
In Inquiry this term we have been looking at how the brain works. We researched information on the different parts of the brain and then created an informative text.
For our Theme we are looking at 'Who We Are' and so we visited Kidzania in Westfield London to undertake a variety of careers to help us figure out what we would like to be when we get older. It was so much fun earning 'kidzos' and using our initiative to undertake responsibilities.
This term in DT we did cooking. We went to Longfield Academy and made vegetable pasta. We followed the recipe and learnt a range of different techniques and skills. The pasta was amazing and was really tasty.
This week the children have enjoyed partaking in a range of different sporting activities for Sports Week! They thoroughly enjoyed skipping and learning new tricks. I have seen so many try the skills they've learnt at break time.
