Theme: How We Express Ourselves.
This term, we will be following different lines of inquiry to help us find out about how "stories may be told in different ways depending on when they were created".
Our lines of inquiry include:
Why stories are told. (Form)
Different types of stories. (Form)
How storytelling has changed over time. (Change)
Why stories are told. (Causation)
Term 1 - Knowledge Organisers
In our Inquiry lessons this week, we researched information all about our favourite books and authors.
We then used our research to write a detailed book review.
This term in Art we looked at the artist Paula Rego, her type of art was inspired through Portuguese traditional folk tales and nursery rhymes. For our 'Stay and Play' afternoon we used natural resources to recreate Rego's most famous painting 'The Dance' .
