Our Football Academy is run by APD using only UEFA qualified coaches. Students train and play matches each week, however, their place is dependent on remaining up to date with their studies.

Students benefit from careers support and investigate potential career opportunities within the sport and leisure industry. Previous students have progressed onto university, employment and apprenticeships within the leisure industry

The Halley Football Academy is a rare opportunity for young players to study level 3 qualifications and train full time. Football Academy players can select any courses and still access the football as the timetable is scheduled to help you succeed in both. The first team will compete in the KSFA Championship and the second team will compete in the KSFA Premiership.

In addition to league matches, Halley Football Academy will play in showcase matches against Premier league, Championship, League 1/2 teams as an opportunity to be scouted for a trial. APD has helped over 100 players reach trials/ contracts.
