LAPS will continue to post information regarding COVID-19 and the district's response as we receive it.
Before sending your child to school each day, please check their temperature (keep home if 100.4 or greater), and consider the following questions:
Does your child have a new or unexplained onset of any of the following: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue (tiredness), sore throat, congestion/runny or stuffy nose, muscle pain or body aches, headache, vomiting or diarrhea, new loss of taste or smell?
In the past 10 days, has your child had close contact to someone diagnosed with COVID-19?
Has your child been diagnosed with COVID-19 or is your child awaiting a COVID-19 test result due to exposure?
**If your answer to any of these questions is "yes", please keep your child home and contact the school. Please note that this screening guidance is based on recommendations by the CDC, NMPED, and NMDOH and consistent with Governor Lujan Grisham's latest executive order.
