Welcome families to the 2025/2026 School year. I am excited to be continuing as the Barranca School Nurse and am ready to work with all of your wonderful children. I am working hard to promote a safe and healthy school environment through health monitoring protocols, educational programs, and school wide mitigation procedures.

School Medications
School Medications
With the return of students on campus, if your student needs medication while at school please have your doctor fill out a medication administration at school form and bring the non expired medication to the office so we have it on campus for your student. This includes all over the counter medications your student may need while at school. Unfortunately I am not able to give students any medications including over the counter medications without an order from their doctor/ dentist.

Celebratory Foods
Celebratory Foods
Celebratory foods will be allowed during the 2025/2026 school year if teachers allow foods in their classrooms. I ask that parents send the ingredient list of the celebratory foods to me at least 24 hours in advance so I can check the ingredients against food allergies in the classroom and arrange for alternatives as needed.
