Webinar

Summary:

English Webinars took place during January and February 2020 between the different schools. The Webinars were designed as STE(A)M activities with the aim of enlarging students knowledge on the causes and consequences of climate change in the coastal zones of their region. The activities had three phases:

  • Planning phase:

Students researched about the causes and consequences of climate change in their region with a contextualization of the main problems of the country, region, the coastal zone. And, they prepared information to present their school and school system.

Students used Google Drive slices to prepare their presentation to be done during the implementation phase:

  • Implementation phase:

A total of 34 students participated in the bilateral Webinars (10 Spanish, 11 Italians, 7 Portuguese and 6 Greek). Students were monitored by their teachers to present their research work and challenged to question to the other countries about the causes of climate change referred to lifestyle.

  • Transference phase:

The knowledge acquired during the planning and implementation of the Webinar was used during the Seminar organized by the Bagheria Council about Climate Change during the C2 Short exchange of students, I LECLIC Conference on Climate Change. It was also used for preparing the questions that will be included in the survey of lifestyle and their consequences on climate change. And, was integrated and assessed during this second conference.
