My personal favorite is the "Daily Bubble," a new series where the Pacific Pals teach you about marine animals.
These are the Academy lessons geared toward middle school:
Bioluminescence and the Deep Sea
While the museum is closed to the public due to COVID-19, it has many things for you to discover from home. Read about our wonderful "biodiversity hotspot" and more!
This museum in San Francisco also has activities, videos, and articles for you to check out from home. Happy exploring!
It's not just NASA that's dedicated to space exploration! The Planetary Society is home to the legends Carl Sagan, Bill Nye, and Neil deGrasse Tyson. I recommend the Explore, Blogs, and Multimedia pages.
The Hayden Planetarium is a world-renowned facility. Check out their blogs, where they have videos with explanations of space missions and natural phenomena. The videos have transcripts that you can read, too.
LIGO (Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory) offers public alerts (where you can participate in citizen science), be a part of research projects, and play space-themed computer games!
White Nose Syndrome is a highly-infectious fungal illness that is devastating bats here in North America. Learn more here, and help yourself to their coloring pages.

Pit Bulls used to be called "nanny dogs" because of how well they looked after the babies of their human companions, but more recently they've been portrayed as aggressive bullies because some people have used them in harmful ways. Due to this, a lot of "Pitties" end up in shelters, where they are euthanized. Gammond uses her artistry to get them adopted into loving homes, instead!
Please follow the rules that all of these artists/authors have stated. While they have given permission to use these resources in the classroom, their work is copyrighted and therefore protected by law. Also, artists tend to be underpaid for their work, so be kind. I'm sure they'd love a "thank you" from you on their Instagram accounts:

Another thing to do is to turn on the blue light filter on your device. Blue light is emitted from screens, and it makes our eyes work very hard.
