8th Grade

8th grade students will participate in dance as an elective course. Students will do deep investigations in specific styles of dance, learn dance technique and terminology, study work from specific artist and choreographers, the history and impact of dance in our culture. They will also collaboratively create student choreography in a variety of settings. Class will have a heavy focus on technique, routines, student dance making and the creative process.
