DANCE PROGRAM - Bears Dance Co.

Dance Co. started January 7, 2021!

We are still accepting new team members until the end of February!

This program is for students at Dwight Rich School of the Arts in 3rd through 8th grade who are interested in learning technique and routines to the following dance styles Jazz/ Ballet/ Lyrical /African / Hip hop. Then having the opportunity to audition to perform in digital or other inventive ways. Performances students may be involved in... Black History Month, Books In Motion, Digital Fairs, and other events invited to.

All members will be trained and taught choreography. It will be up to the member to practice and review on a daily basis to be ready for "Performance Auditions".

COMPANY GUIDELINES

1. Attendance w/ all Black Attire - Rehearsals on Thursdays from 3:30PM- 5:00 PM

2. Screen to Screen Rehearsals - Camera is expected to be turned on

3. Room to Move - Where teacher/ coach can see whole body (How else can I give corrections on movements)

4. Light- Make sure you can be seen.

5. Dance Resources will be posted in google classroom to learn about dance vocabulary and technique skills.

6. You may be asked to self record yourself or be screen recorded for performances/ performance videos and practice videos.

7. May be asked to create movement pieces or sections with groups.

8. 3 NO SHOWS/ NO CALL,TEXT, OR EMAIL - Removed from the Company.
