A really purposeful writing outcome.
Well done, Year 4!
This week, Year 4 pupils have been focusing on writing recipes.
The children spent time exploring different word types before writing their own recipes. They then followed these recipes to make their own pizzas!
So far this term, Year 6 pupils have been focusing on the skills that need to be included in a variety of writing styles. They have written just-so stories and multi narrative biography. As part of this biography they included a letter and map work.
Well done, Year 6.
Phonics Work
So far, Year 1 pupils have been continuing to develop and practise their phonics, and applying these skills across the PYP curriculum
Phonics is vital for early reading and writing skills and the children have daily sessions focusing on specific code.
Well done to all Year 1 pupils for some fantastic learning in this area this week.
