There is a huge wealth of reading books that are being published. Having spoken to some of the pupils this week, they were eager to tell me about some of the authors and book series they liked. These included, Beast Quest, David Walliams, Harry Potter and books by Julia Donaldson. They also said that sometimes they are unsure about other books they might like.

Below are some ideas for branching out. They are designed to help readers find their next favourite read after a particular series or book they love. It can be hard to know where to start looking for a new book to read, especially after finishing a series or book that you have been deeply invested in.
