Langley Park Legends

A Langley Legend this week is Madison, from Kanzi Class, who has been selling Kindness Rocks and Pet Rocks for charity as part of the academy's Charity Tuesday initiative. Madison has spent a lot of time painting her rocks and there were lots of different designs on sale.

As a hearing aid wearer, Madison decided to sell her Kindness/Pet Rocks to raise funds for The Royal National Institute for Deaf People (RNID) which is a charity she has supported a number of times in recent years with various fundraising activities. This week she has raised another £117.50 for her chosen cause!

Well done, Madison. This is a fantastic achievement and we wish you all the very best in your future fundraising endeavours!

If your child would like to fundraise as part of our Charity Tuesday opportunity, please ask them to write a letter to Miss Brading outlining what they would like to sell/do and their chosen charity. There are a number of Charity Tuesday slots available throughout the academic year and any pupil can take part to raise money for a cause close to their heart.
