Langley Park Legends

Langley's Legends!

This week we would like to share with you the achievements of Kya in Empire Class.

Throughout last month Kya completed the 30 Days Wild challenge, a fun, annual event from The Wildlife Trust that involves trying one 'random act of wildness' every day for the 30 days of June. Kya completed a range of tasks such as outdoor yoga, mindfulness colouring, baking animal biscuits and feeding wildlife.

Well done, Kya. This is a superb achievement and it is great to hear of you being involved with a challenge aimed at bringing people closer to nature. We are so proud of you!

Also a Langley Legend this week is Logan in Melrose Class, who participated in the Race for Life last Sunday at Mote Park in Maidstone. Logan completed the 5km with his Mum and a friend, raising an amazing £80 for Cancer Research UK.

Race for Life began more than 25 years ago as a women-only event. It has since grown into a series of hundreds of inclusive events across the country involving children, families and friends, opening its doors for men to participate too in 2019.

Well done Logan, for completing the 5km and taking part in an event that has raised almost £500 million towards beating cancer since it began. We are super proud of you!
