On Sunday 2nd March it is Music Therapy Day. To mark this occasion, our journalism pupils shared their favourite songs and what music means to them, highlighting its power to inspire.

‘Family’ by Migos, Karol G, Snoop Dogg & Rock Mafia. It's dramatic and emotional.
‘Birds of a Feather’ by Billie Eilish because it's entertaining.
‘Expresso’ by Sabrina Carpenter because it’s exciting.
'Push 2 Start' by Tyla. I really like the beat and I love dancing to it!

What is iRock and Why Do We Do it in School:
"iRock is where you can play instruments and have fun. We have iRock in school because it helps us build skills and confidence."
Why would you choose iRock:
"I would recommend iRock to anyone who loves music and struggles with coordination. I chose iRock because it is entertaining and very enjoyable. iRock helps by teaching you new instruments and making you happy whilst you're doing it. I chose iRock because I wanted to learn how to sing."
