We are very pleased to announce that we have an author visiting Langley Park on Friday 4th October as part of Maidstone's Litfest.
Helen Peters will be spending the morning with us, hosting two assemblies for EYFS/KS1 and KS2. Children have the opportunity to purchase some of her books through My Child at School/Store and have these signed by the author on the day. Please note that payment for books must be received by Thursday 3rd October.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the children to meet a published author.

‘Following the success of last year’s events, we are very excited to share news about the upcoming LitFest coming to Maidstone Town from 5th to 12th October.
At the Kent History and Library Centre in Maidstone, we are delighted to be providing events throughout the week, including workshops for budding authors. Events also include talks from the Archives team and guests, and Storytimes and craft events for children of all ages! Maidstone's second literature festival promises something for everyone, with an array of events and appearances taking place in the heart of the town. The line-up of authors is nothing short of incredible!
