Air quality testing

In our previous newsletter, we mentioned that we are going to become clean air champions.  In association with Asthma and Lung UK (A+LUK), we were sent some clean air monitors and they have now been placed in 6 locations around our school site.

These monitors will be up for the next 4 weeks and then sent off for analysis.  We look forward to seeing the results and reporting back to you about how clean our air is around Langley Park.

Clean Air Day - Thursday 19th June 2025

This coming Thursday is #cleanairday and we would very much like to support this cause.  Our Eco-Council met today to talk about how we can promote this and it means that we would like to encourage as many of our families and community members to walk, cycle or scoot to school.  We have been busy making posters that we will display around the school to give suggestions on how best to travel to and from our school site.  Although we want to take part in Clean Air Day on Thursday 19th June, we would also like to encourage as many people as possible to walk, cycle or scoot to school on any day of the week as well.
