It has been a week full of beautiful weather which has certainly lifted everyone's spirits! The week has been quieter week than normal, but lots of fun learning opportunities have still been taking place.
Our OPAL provision is gaining lots of attention due to the high quality play that our children get to experience as a result. As a result, we have had a number of visits from other schools, both within LAT and outside of LAT, to see the provision in action. Yesterday, we welcomed Mr Etheridge (who some of you will remember) to the academy to see it. Without exception, all of our visitors comment on how purposeful and inclusive our playtimes are due to the abundance of resources and zones for the children to access. We are always looking for donations so please consider getting in contact with the academy should you be having a Spring clean.
On Thursday, Year 2 pupils visited the RAF Museum in London. This trip was linked to their learning about the history of flight. It was an incredible experience for them and they all enjoyed seeing the different aircrafts there to help contextualise and add relevance to their unit of inquiry. Unsurprisingly, the children behaved impeccably well and really took away a lot from this personal development opportunity.
Please do take a peek at our Langley Legend page. You will find a nice surprise there with someone other than our children being recognised for their achievements this week. Needless to say, we are very proud!
Enjoy the bank holiday weekend and we look to seeing you all on Tuesday 6th May.

We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
