WHAT DOES A SCHOOL COUNSELOR DO?
As a school counselor, I work alongside teachers and parents to help students develop academic, social and emotional skills, build college and career goals, and help remove any barriers students may have to their learning!
Services:
Classroom lessons to reach all students
Small group counseling
Short-term individual counseling
Consultation with parents and teachers
Parent workshops
Community resources (including longer term therapy services)
