In an effort to help families in California buy food when school is closed, children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals at school will receive Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) benefits. Families will get up to $365 per eligible child on their P-EBT card to use on food and groceries. This is in addition to the other CalFresh benefits the family may receive and in addition to the ability to utilize grab and go options to pick up food at a child’s school.
