Kline Whitis is proud to have a partnership with our adopted unit from Ft. Hood, 410th MP CO - 3rd Platoon.
My name is Mandy Warren, and I serve as the point of contact for military-connected students and their families at Kline Whitis Elementary. I work closely with our registrar during enrollment to ensure all military-connected students are properly identified, accurately coded, and connected to the support and services they need.
I also support our K(indness) Kids, a group of 5th grade student leaders who help welcome and guide new students as they transition to our campus. In addition, I collaborate with our Adopt-a-Unit partners to maintain a strong military presence on campus and foster a sense of connection and community.
Throughout the year, I coordinate events such as the First Responders Breakfast and Purple Up Day to honor and celebrate our military-connected students, helping them feel welcomed, supported, and at home.
