Hello KWE Family,
I’m so grateful to serve as the School Counselor at Kline Whitis Elementary and am excited to begin my fifth year with this incredible community. I’ve spent the past 18 years in education, including 11 years as a school counselor, and I truly love helping students grow both academically and emotionally.
My career began as a high school math teacher before earning my Master’s in School Counseling from Lamar University. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with students in elementary, secondary, and alternative education settings. I’ve also completed the academic requirements to pursue licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
At KWE, I support students through individual counseling, small groups, and classroom guidance lessons that focus on social-emotional learning, coping skills, and character development. My goal is to help every child feel safe, supported, and confident so they can thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Serving the KWE community is especially meaningful because my family is part of it as well. My children attend LISD, my husband graduated from LISD, and we are thankful to call Lampasas home.
I look forward to another wonderful year of learning, growth, and partnership with our KWE families!
