Every choice we make is an important piece of who we become. Through Red Ribbon Week, we learn to make safe and healthy decisions. As leaders, we practice habits that build character and guide us toward lifelong, well-rounded choices. We complete the puzzle by fostering a love of reading, where stories and the characters show us how to make brave, smart choices and live healthy, safe lives. Together, these lessons help us create a safe, caring, and connected community.
We encourage you to dress up, following the student dress code. Questions? Email, Mrs. Brown the HSE School Counselor, @ brownc2@lisdtx.org
The Safety Walk at Hanna Springs Elementary is an opportunity for students to learn safe and healthy choices that they can utilize throughout their life. This year students will hear from the following community experts:
Lampasas Fire Department on home and emergency safety
Lampasas Police Department on bike, car and basic gun safety
Acadian Paramedics on emergency safety
Lampasas Animal Shelter on animal safety
Sulphur Creek Urgent Care on drug and poison safety
We are so thankful that our community helpers are taking the time our of their busy schedules to share important safety measures with the students of Hanna Springs.
At Hanna Springs we utilize safe and healthy choices as our focus for Red Ribbon Week. If you are interested in more detailed information for your own child, please visit https://www.redribbon.org/ .
