Sometimes leaders face problems they can not solve on their own. At those times they involve others to help keep them safe or synergize for the big rocks. If you have academic, social or behavior concerns about yourself (or a student) please fill out the link below with as much information as possible so that we can determine the best route of action to help you be successful.

These traits are adopted directly from §120.3. Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Positive Character Traits, Grades K-5, Adopted 2020.
The Zones of Regulation is four catagories to describe our feelings, energy and emotions. We learn regulation of these feelings to support tasks, goals and demands in all areas of our lives while be supported through our over all well being.
Conflict resolution is a hard skill to learn as a kid. But students that are able to have the hard converstaions now will learn how to do hard things that will take you throughout your life.
Teaching these skills to children now allows them to self advocate with peers and friends. Students are also asked to work through their own personal reflection of their impact on the situation.
Enemy Pie is a great story on understanding the importance of resolution and understanding the need to engage in touch conversations before they become out of control, for no good reason.
You are your own, #1 advocate.
While parents, teachers and other trusted adults want to be your number one advocate, we just can't without truly knowing what you are feeling and/or experiencing.
Students must speak up and share how they need help, they are the only one that can 100% share what is going on with them. Encourage your student to find someone that will listen and that they feel confident in sharing how they need support.
