Medical Professions

Healthcare is one of the fastest growing industries, especially right here in Northeast Ohio. This two-year program prepares students for employment in a healthcare providers’ office, clinic, or hospital as they learn the skills and knowledge needed for a variety of opportunities in the medical field.  Medical Professions coursework empowers students to explore and practice what it will be like in a real-world setting while also providing opportunities for college credit that can be used at the post-secondary level.

• Sense of caring and understanding 

Students will have the additional opportunity in the *Medical Professions Capstone course to receive credit for both in-school and/or out-of-school learning experiences.

Graduation Pathway: Possibility to earn 12 industry credential points and the Industry-Recognized Credential Seal

College Credit Possible − Student must fulfill requirements of the college

Industry Credentials: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, First Aid, CPR, Elder Care, and OSHA-10

Internship Opportunities (paid or unpaid) − Work experience senior year, 6-10 hours per week in a related occupation
