In this course, we will take a deep dive into novels, poetry, short stories, and graphic novels specifically written by indigenous authors to better understand the history, beauty, and resiliency of the many nations and cultures that make up "Native America." Although much of this course will focus on topics that our class will choose to explore together, we will specifically work on reading and responding to varied texts, analyzing and supporting theme, and crafting an argument.
A desire to grow, to question, and to challenge yourself.
