In Creative Writing this semester, you will hone your creativity, originality and writing style through a multitude of creative writing activities. You will not only develop personal writing skills, but will also develop skills in evaluating the quality of creative writing through reading and listening to the writing of others. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to write, revise, read, edit, discuss, display and present your writing and the writing of others in the class. The goal is to develop your creative voice in a non-threatening, workshop environment. We will focus on the continued development of effective writing: ideas, organization, voice, word choice, sentence fluency, conventions and presentation.
