What Is Scoir?

Scoir is website that connects students, families, high schools, and colleges for a streamlined college admissions experience. We use Scoir to send your Lakeland documents—transcripts, letters of recommendation, etc.—to colleges. It is critical that you link your CommonApp and Scoir accounts so that we can send those documents on your behalf! Scoir also has a great college and career search tool. The majority of students' time spent on Scoir will be as a senior, but all students are encouraged to utilize it, explore, and get used to the website.

How Do I Access Scoir?

On the Scoir Log-in Screen, click "Sign-In with Google" and log in with your Lakeland account. (No need to fill in a username and password!)

What Will I Use Scoir For?

As a senior, you will use Scoir to request the documents needed to support your college application. You will use Common App or Coalition App to actually apply to colleges, but you will use Scoir so that we can securly send documents on your behalf to complete those applications.

Request Letters of Recommendation - See requirements for each college you're applying to for how many letters they require or accept. NOTE: Do not request letters of rec. on Common App. We use Scoir for all requests!
Request Transcripts - This is the same doc that you can access from Infinite Campus, but it must come from your counselor to be "Official." You can learn more about how this works by visiting the Sending Transcripts/Self-Reported Grades section of this website.
Complete the Senior Brag Sheet - a reflection survey that will help your recommenders write a strong letter on your behalf. More information about the Senior Brag Sheet can be found in the Letters of Recommendation section of this website.

PrinciplesYou is a feature of Scoir that allows students to assess themselves and get matched up with potential careers, college majors, and institutions based on interests, skills, and experiences.
