Q: What is the difference between Skyward and Google Classroom/Seesaw?

A: Some teachers choose to assign work inside of Google Classroom and Seesaw. Seesaw (grade Preschool-1st) can be accessed by parents through the parent application, your child's teacher will send home this information if using Seesaw. 

Skyward is where student final grades are visible. Skyward is also where fees are paid, lunch accounts can be managed, and you can access student specific information. 

Q: How do I set up my account?

A: When you registered your student initially, you provided the school with a contact email. Account set up information was sent to that email. Be sure to check the Spam folder. If you have any issues accessing your Skyward account, please contact dcarmichael@lakelandk12.org. 

 Q: Is there an app for Skyward?

A: Yes, there is an app. Please see below for instructions on setting up the mobile version of Skyward.  You will search for "Lakeland" when prompted to connect to a district. 

Q: Can my student login to Skyward? 

A: Yes, your student can login to Skyward. They will have a tile on Classlink that takes them directly to the webpage. It is very important that students remember their passwords to Skyward. For students at LES, it is best if parents login and share the information (grades) with students.
