Hello! I am so excited to be on your child's team this year.
I have been teaching for the past 10 years, and have been here at Lakehurst for three. I graduated from Seton Hall University, with a Bachelor's in Elementary and Special Education, and I am currently getting my Master's Degree in Educational Technology and Instructional Design. I have experience teaching students in English Language Learning, Special Education, and General Education classrooms. I love learning along side each of my students and believe it is deeply important to be a life long learner.
My teaching philosophy centers on equipping students with the essential skills of manners, organization, independence, critical thinking and career readiness. By fostering these foundational skills, I help students connect classroom learning to real-world situations, preparing them for success both in and out of school.
Outside of school, I love to road trip and see the National Parks across the United States. I'm an Ocean County girl, born and raised so I love the beach and the boardwalk. I also love board games and movie nights on the couch with my dog and fiancé.
