Admission Requirements

Students applying for admission to the SLHS Cambridge AICE Program as a 9th grader must meet all of the following requirements:

1. Proficiency in state assessments-- reading, writing, and math.

2. Academic grades from 8th grade with a minimum 3.0 unweighted GPA.

3. Need to have taken and passed Algebra 1.

4. Positive attendance record.

5. Minimal discipline record.

6. Two 8th grade teacher recommendations.

7. Writing sample.

Transfer, non-public, or out-of-state students applying for admission to the SLHS Cambridge AICE Program require all of the following:

1. Proficiency in equivalent standards assessment.

2. Report card from previous and current grade.

3. Need to have taken and passed Algebra 1.

4. Positive attendance record.

5. Minimal discipline record.

6. Writing sample.
